The anticipation of Iran’s retaliatory strike on Israel, a developing Mexico export shortage, and the continuation of OPEC+ cuts have boosted sentiment in the oil market recently. On the other hand, the potential of the Fed not cutting interest rates this year could pour some cold water on the oil price rally. 05/04/2024 10:46 PM Nikmon What have the gov or PMX help SAP, why PKR started report SAP associated with PKR...can subcon receive their money before RAYA 06/04/2024 8:24 PM SinGor Want to confirm with my Ipoh La-tok first ( during Raya), Bcos SAP owe his Co. a few millions 08/04/2024 1:54 PM Nikmon 1.5 months since 3 months extension granted. 1.5 months left, still need extension..... 11/04/2024 9:07 PM Alistino G https://www.adelaidenow.com.au/technology/innovation/sooner-than-later-global-conflict-warnings-as-israel-braces-for-attack-from-iran/news-story/ff7cfdf85339596744e1eab597c03ab2 13/04/2024 8:39 PM bullrun168 If Iran attacks Israel, Middle East turmoil could lift oil past $100 a barrel Published: April 12, 2024 at 1:22 p.m. ET By Myra P. If Iran, one of the world’s largest oil producers, gets directly involved, however, a return to prices of more than $100 a barrel may soon follow. “Nobody wants to be short heading into the weekend,” said Manish Raj, managing director at Velandera Energy Partners. “If the conflicts escalate over the weekend, short sellers will lose their shirts when they wake up on Monday.” What’s happened An April 1 airstrike on Iran’s consulate in Syria, which Tehran has attributed to Israel, killed seven Iranian military officers and prompted a vow of retaliation from Tehran. Since the start of the war in Gaza in early October, there has been a rise in clashes between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah militants based in Lebanon. Hamas, which governs Gaza and launched the Oct. 7 attack on southern Israel, is also backed by Iran. News reports have said that an Iranian attack on Israel is believed to be imminent, with the Wall Street Journal reporting the possibility of an attack as soon as Friday or Saturday. The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem issued a travel advisory on Thursday, warning U.S. citizens in Israel against travel outside of major cities such as Tel Aviv. John Kirby, the Biden White House’s adviser for national-security communications, told reporters Friday that the administration is “certainly mindful of a very public, and what we consider to be a very credible, threat made by Iran in terms of potential attacks on Israel,” and that it was watching developments “very, very, very closely.” Oil rally Prices for oil have climbed so far this month alongside the rising tensions in the Middle East, with U.S. benchmark crude futures trading 5% higher and global benchmark Brent crude gaining closer to 6%. In Friday dealings, May West Texas Intermediate crude CL.1 CLK24 was up 76 cents, or 0.9%, to trade at $85.78 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange after trading as high as $87.67, while June Brent crude BRN00 BRNM24 climbed 90 cents, or 1%, to $90.64 on ICE Futures Europe following a high at $92.18. Both touched their highest intraday levels since October. 14/04/2024 9:58 AM stockraider With or without Iran attack oil price is expected to go above USD 100 loh! 14/04/2024 10:23 AM 0PTech More likely will hit $127 per barrel before going back revisiting $67.50 and by then the bull run towards $437 becomes imminent. 15/04/2024 3:32 AM dompeilee Oil reach $100 (I already predicted at least $98 in Dayang thread weeks ago) also cannot move this TON OF BRICKS by more than 2 ticks!🤣 15/04/2024 7:43 AM Change_ PM-X not good. On Saturday evening, Iran launched more than 300 armed drones on Israel. The majority were shot down by Israel, as well as the U.S., U.K. and Jordan. There were no known U.S. or Israeli deaths. Afterwards, Iran said that its attack "can be deemed concluded." Although, Israel responded by saying the situation is "not over." However, for now, the imminent danger has come and gone. And the fear of escalation appears to have been muted at present. If stocks were pressured by the threat of imminent attack, stocks are ripe for a rebound given the better than expected outcome. 16/04/2024 2:26 PM newbie5354_ Any1 here monitor PNB SapNrg dealings? The AGM will be conducted fully virtually, ensuring convenient access for all shareholders. Any news on the White Knight? 18/04/2024 5:05 PM Windy1974 Below statement from Sapura. We have been supporting Sap projects for more than 10 years. During PN17, payment term had been cash before delivery. Sap couldn't bid for Petronas jobs too due to their financial situation. Since mid 2023 Sap started bidding Petronas projects again. Most importantly, below statement was issued when SAP was seeking best price from vendors like us and assuring us that they would be out from PN17 soon. First time they issue such statements. Any tom dick and harry companies issued this, take it with a pinch of salt. Sapura doesn't simply issue unfounded statements. I expect my company would get paid our long overdue debts earliest by June. Very confident about it While currently we are in progress to manage the Debt and to moving forward, by this time Sapura would be out of PN17 Status. 19/04/2024 8:04 AM Sslee The different way to exit PN17 1.
