Mark Yeoh Seok Kah, executive director of YTL Hotels, told TTG Asia that there has been an “upswing in demand on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays” for YTL properties in its home country Malaysia. https://www.ttgasia.com/2023/07/06/ytl-hotels-sees-strength-in-south-east-asia-markets/ 17/07/2023 5:01 PM Windy1974 Yes. I am expecting full year 7 to 8 sens. No complain but YTL should revise higher upon lease expiry and i expect YTL to do so as they are fair to their shareholders 01/08/2023 9:27 AM Justmeme KIPSreits and YTLreits are the top now and steady income. Buy this 2 and retire in peace 04/08/2023 10:58 AM Windy1974 One need to understand that REIT distributes dividend doesn't mean price won't drop. Just same as you buy property. Those who bought after 2014, condos, who are making money? So, what sectors and locations are important too. You won't wanna buy badly managed shopping malls or offices. Btw, everyone knows offices oversupplied. I suggest diversified into Sunway REITs, AXIS REIT, IGB REIT and of course YTLREIT. If you agree with what Jack Ma said, future generations will spend more time travel and hotels will be in high demand. Of course, well managed and quality hotel. I am reluctant to say this but JW Marriott KL is actually underpriced for it's quality and location. I am reluctant cos i like to stay there for my wife's shopping. When hotel rates go up, YTLREIT can get better rental rate. All other countries hotel rate has gone up at least 20%, Singapore 50%. Now, RM400 can only get you 3 star hotel (lousy one) in SG. 07/08/2023 4:40 PM Justmeme Let us do the maths again. Current half yearly div is 4.38 cts. Coming half yearly should be more. So no yearly div as it is is 8.76 cts. At a price of say RM 1. It gives an annual div of 8.76%. Nett after tax is 7.89 % which is very very good. 14/08/2023 9:37 PM Cryptolover https://theedgemalaysia.com/node/679811 Goldman, KKR, Blackstone join investor rush for Japan hotels good news for Japanese hotels! 23/08/2023 3:24 PM jamestecs Not sure Japan tourism will drop or not, due to pour pollution water into sea. 28/08/2023 11:13 AM ATCSLIN @jamestec, its also my concerns and i have been searching on web related to this but i can't seem to find it. 30/08/2023 1:22 PM cwc1981 Shangri-la with negative PE and no dividend since 2020 still price are RM 2.4. Any potential REIt could appreciate like the mother and sister? 06/01/2024 4:25 PM cwc1981 The Corp and Reit crossed the RM 1 marked almost the same time. Now Corp has crossed RM 2 06/01/2024 4:27 PM Hemsley Before C19 was about 1.38. Now already 1.20, and factor in higher management & operation cost, maybe 1.30 is a good price to cash out? 14/02/2024 1:59 PM Justmeme Got volume and rises.
