![]() PuaQW91 Ya. Let's see got any subsidies / tax incentive or not in revised Budget 2023 21/02/2023 2:29 PM Pinky BPPLAS mediocre results, brace yourself for similar if not worse with TGUAN 27/02/2023 9:50 PM Phoebe Yup, citing higher cost of raw material and operation cost. The higher cost didn't include the recent hike of electricity tariff and adjustment on working hour. Futhermore EU recently review the single use plastic and target to reduce by 5% by 2030 base on 2018 consumption (more or less something like that). It operating environment is getting more challenging. 28/02/2023 5:08 AM Papayashot As analysts covering BP Plastics and Thong Guan, we need to underscore that these companies' stretch films are 100 per cent recyclable, and a substantial part of the raw materials for their stretch films are sourced from recyclable products," CGS-CIMB Research further noted. Thong Guan's production facilities in Peninsular Malaysia are also completely powered by solar energy, making the company one of the biggest users of this renewable energy in Malaysia. 28/02/2023 8:59 PM Pinky Yea no like https://www.thestar.com.my/business/business-news/2022/07/22/thong-guan-transitions-into-100-renewable-energy-for-its-electricity-supply However, labour costs and sales demand are 2 question marks too 28/02/2023 10:31 PM Pinky Previously I targeted to re-enter at 2.30. Now I think 2.20 more suitable re-entry 28/02/2023 10:38 PM All_in_2021 The management said confident with the europe line. Is it a new line? 01/03/2023 9:56 AM Phoebe Yes, it is a new line. Still standing strong and recover abit from today's drop. I shall wait for next Q result. That will be interesting because if past results down due to increase of operation cost, then electricity and labour will put more pressure to it. 01/03/2023 11:14 AM PuaQW91 Still declared 2.25 cents dividend nevertheless. I guess can get cheaper than RM2.20 for the share price 01/03/2023 5:28 PM All_in_2021 electricity is a big hit to most of the companies. One question - polyethylene price increase will impact their cost or selling price? or both 01/03/2023 5:47 PM PuaQW91 Definitely will impact their cost and mostly they will transfer the cost to their consumers by increasing the selling price 02/03/2023 4:06 PM Phoebe Didn't drop to my buy Q price. Lowest was 2.24 Maybe better luck next time. 04/03/2023 3:22 PM Phoebe No gloves plsss........ Heard that latest OPR will remain the same but like i say, Jan-March results might see some weakness due to increase in operating cost. So, there might be some opportunity to buy on weakness. 07/03/2023 3:51 PM PuaQW91 Don't know BN will surprise market or not by raising rate instead https://www.thestar.com.my/business/business-news/2023/03/06/central-bank-forecast-to-hold-opr-steady 07/03/2023 5:03 PM flyhub888 but if it is foreseen to be weakness, the share price will plunge further 08/03/2023 12:48 AM Phoebe Scientex lastest QR reported lower revenue from their packaging business due to reduction in demand and cited higher operation cost. I think next QR will be more challenging as hike in electricity and labor cost. 16/03/2023 10:15 PM PuaQW91 As we approach the third month of the new 2023 year, the Group has experienced a steady accumulation of orders for its plastic products in tandem with the gradual increase of plastic prices since January 2023. These orders are anticipated to increase the sales volume for financial year 2023. In addition, the Group is optimistic about the full operations of its three new European blown film lines and 2 newly commissioned premium stretch films lines. Prospect given by Tguan in its Q4FY2022 20/03/2023 4:22 PM PuaQW91 Probably need to ask their management about that during this upcoming AGM... 21/03/2023 5:19 PM Phoebe I actually posted this few months back on the ESOS. Resharing now Anyway i found this info in the Annual report. Might have miss it when it read it the 1st time. Can refer to page 73 of the annual report. (Link Below). TGUAN approved 28.6M of ESOS shares at the price at RM1.13 for 5 years (2019-2024). Lets say if all are fully exercise, then TGUAN number of shareholding (NOSH) is about 410M. Not great but not a big concern as it 7% increase in NOSH and future earning will be diluted by 7% 22/03/2023 9:52 AM PuaQW91 Thanks for sharing, Phoebe. Good thing Tguan is going up instead recently 22/03/2023 5:27 PM def147258 Share a good teacher, when I met Glove Stock, it was the teacher who helped me to solve it and helped my stock market slowly recover losses. I hope that retail investors can unite. What good news can be shared together and spent the difficulties together! 29/03/2023 7:40 PM Leanorn I appreciate your diligence in completing this task. I understand that you were unsure of your answer, but you answered correctly. 29/03/2023 8:27 PM ![]() ![]() | |
