UBG Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. The Company operates in four segments: construction, which is engaged in building and civil construction and mechanical and electrical engineering related activities; property development, which is engaged in investment in land and the development of residential and commercial properties; investments, which is engaged in investment holding and cash reserves deposited with financial institutions, and quarry and trading, which is engaged in quarry operations, trading in water related equipment, wholesale and retailing. As of December 31, 2008, the Company completed the acquisitions of CMS Roads Sdn Bhd (CMS Roads), CMS Pavement Tech Sdn Bhd (CMS Pavement), Putrajaya Perdana Berhad and Loh & Loh Corporation Berhad.
