Business Background Country View Bhd is a Malaysian based company operates in real estate sector. The business activity of the group is operated through Property development and Investment holding segments. The Property Development segment develops residential and commercial properties, whereas the Investment Holding segment invests in subsidiaries and associate which are long-term in nature. The project portfolio of the group includes projects such as Taman Universiti, Taman Nusa Indah, Taman Nusa Bestari Jaya and Resident at Peak (Straitsview8). Geographically all the activities are performed through the region of Malaysia.

What's the "catch" with this company? Very good balance sheet, decent financial ratios, seemingly low P/E and P/BV valuations. Decent record of dividend payments. Good profit margins. When I look back, even in 2013/2014 during the height of their success the company didn't get much recognition in terms of stock performance. Zero institutional holders when you analyse their shareholdings.
