Citing a broker, Bloomberg has reported that the Miami waterfront property has attracted five offers of more than $1 billion each, he notes. That means that the Malaysian company could recognize a gain of over MYR2.9 billion on the sale, Yin says. He doesn't expect Genting to declare any special dividends, but thinks it will fortify its balance sheet instead in view of its bid for the lucrative casino license. Maybank maintains a buy rating on the stock with a MYR2.97 target. If it can close it within next few weeks or 3 months, then the timing would be very good.
