Anticipating a prolonged trade war with the U.S., the bureau reaffirmed its policy to maintain domestic stability through accelerated government bond issuance, financial easing, and employer support to safeguard employment. There was no new announcement regarding an increase in government bond issuance beyond the plan approved in March. Zhang Zhiwei, Chief Economist at Pinpoint Asset Management, commented, “So far, the Xi administration does not seem to be in a hurry to launch large-scale policy stimulus. It takes time to monitor and assess the timing and magnitude of trade-related shocks.” According to Xinhua, the Politburo meeting emphasized the need to flexibly implement new measures in response to developments, continually refine policy tools, and stabilize employment and the economy. It called for a comprehensive plan for a "worst-case scenario" and concrete measures to strengthen the economy. To stabilize employment, the meeting proposed increasing the refund ratio of unemployment insurance funds for companies seriously affected by tariffs. The statement also said, “Multiple measures should be taken to support companies facing difficulties. We must strengthen financial support and accelerate the integration of domestic sales and foreign trade.” 25/04/2025 5:57 PM tikcus Us Tech is moving, good sign…Tsla 🤘…sentiment improving…hope more good news to come… 26/04/2025 6:39 AM swissvillage Tariff Cuts Possible After Malaysia, US Begin Talks – Economist https://www.bernama.com/en/news.php/crime_courts/target='_blank'?id=2416758 26/04/2025 1:33 PM BarrettTeo suddenly uptrend for MPI ... next quarterly result will be very good ? 28/04/2025 3:05 PM tikcus exciting times now on how macro is setting up...and geopolitical movements...the more i read the more interesting it is...with now focus is India/Pakistan/Trump/China...Zelensky meeting with Trump, what was discussed...hmmm...very interesting...many conspiracy theory going around, most interesting is the epstein list...juicy juicy 29/04/2025 12:10 PM tikcus May will be exciting month. all eyes on FOMC on feds future actions...whether feds will pivot in May...if not then have to see...like it or not every country is also waiting for the US feds to pivot, then they can follow 30/04/2025 2:54 PM tikcus looking back at those trolls, keep price calling lower and lower and lower...how dumb they sound...probably deleted their posts, then change name and keep trolling,...that is the way it is and a lot of them find it empowering when they do that and coincidently they get it right sometimes...keyboard warriors are everywhere...warriors behind the screen spreading fear, trolling, talking cow dung... we need to do better, its not a nice world out there...keep to your own research and stick to your own investment plan...again its all read read read and stay updated and informed... 30/04/2025 3:19 PM investorbat Bought some average 15+,waiting to buy more from retracement. Policy Outlook (Late 2025) To gain an advantage in the 2026 midterm elections, President Trump is likely to aggressively promote tax cuts and deregulation starting in the second half of 2025. Tax Cuts: Expected reductions in corporate and personal income taxes, potentially revisiting or expanding the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Deregulation: Focused especially on the AI sector, energy industry, and big tech, rolling back Biden-era restrictions. Private Sector Emphasis: Policies favoring private investment over government spending (e.g., infrastructure). 2. Economic Impact Timing: If policies are implemented from July–December 2025, effects are likely to appear in spring or summer 2026. Expected Outcome: Corporate earnings and employment may improve notably by early 2026, allowing Trump to showcase a "strong economy" leading into the November midterms. Risks: Inflation resurgence, particularly in energy and housing. Legislative gridlock if Congress delays or blocks key measures. 3. Nasdaq-100 Impact Investor Sentiment Boost: Policy momentum could improve market confidence, especially in the tech-heavy Nasdaq-100. Timing: A potential new all-time high between November 2025 and May 2026, with a 50%+ probability. Sectors Benefiting: AI, cloud computing, semiconductors, and consumer tech giants (e.g., NVDA, MSFT, AMZN) may see strong upward momentum. 05/05/2025 11:06 PM gooman https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-05-06/chinese-trade-flow-resilient-at-end-of-april-despite-us-tariffs?embedded-checkout=true 06/05/2025 10:06 PM tikcus Feds seems to stay put, wait and see...seems like they are waiting for something to break...there is already alot of stress on the banking sector, private credit and commercial real estate...JP seemed calm, but there is immense pressure...the credit cycle is breaking down...maybe he needs some panic breakdown for him to emergency cut...lets see...nevertheless, good news to load up more while waiting... 08/05/2025 2:50 PM gooman US move to ease curbs on chip exports an opportunity for Malaysia https://www.nst.com.my/business/economy/2025/05/1213926/us-move-ease-curbs-chip-exports-opportunity-malaysia 10/05/2025 6:05 PM gooman Volodymyr Zelensky has said it was a "positive sign" that Russia was considering ending the war in Ukraine, after Russia offered "direct talks" this coming Thursday. Over the past six years, MPI has evolved from a traditional OSAT-focused manufacturer into a sustainability-integrated, digitally enabled partner aligned with global megatrends such as EVs, renewable energy, and advanced power semiconductors. This transformation has been underpinned by strategic ESG leadership, strong global customer orientation, enhanced R&D capabilities, and a resilient, skilled workforce. In line with this strategic shift, revenue and PAT grew at a CAGR of approximately 6% over the period. However, revenue growth did not translate into proportionately higher PAT due to declining gross profit margins and rising selling, general, and administrative (SGA) expenses. At the same time, capital employed grew faster than PAT, resulting in a decline ROE. While this declining ROE trend is common across the sector, MPI continues to outperform peers on a relative basis. That said, the market appears to have priced in concerns about MPI’s declining returns. So, while MPI stands out on a peer-relative basis, from an investment risk perspective, it falls into the Gem quadrant of the Fundamental Mapper — reflecting strong business fundamentals but a market valuation that is cautious about future profitability. 05/06/2025 7:33 AM ![]() ![]() | |
