Until and unless, BRICS trading using local currencies is a confirmed and permanent trading option for the world outside the influences of US, the US would still want to continue the war as long as possible resulting in their increase spending and boosting their GDP in the process and delaying a possible recession. so far only China, Russia and India started trading in local currencies. I believe Malaysia and Singapore is interested as well but no official mention or stance in this matter. Look at Ukraine, more than a year and US seems to wash their hands off the issue.
