Now, the power equation seems to imply that PN is a threat to BN or for that matter UMNO. A 360 degrees turnaround when Pas & BN were once having a great time taunting factions within PH by-election one after the other and that ultimately cause the collapse of the PH government.

BERSATU form PN to absorb BN members. You can clearly see few members wanted to join PN despite the Supreme Council sticking to "not joining any coalition." So, unless BN didn't care what happen to their party in the future. MCA MIC might ceased to have any meaning if BN disbanded.
