In Indonesia only downstream benefit from high price of CPO because of export duty and levy on CPO.

Export tax increase in line with a raise in the reference price to $1,093.83/ton for April from $1,036.22 in March
Indonesia to Increase CPO Export Tax to $116 per Ton for April.
Govt maintains the additional levy that exporters must pay at $255/ton.

Hence CPO local price is usd 371 below international market price of USD 1093.

Wages in Malaysia is from Rm900 to Rm1,500 depending on skill and speed

In indonesia labour cost only Rm600 to Rm700

While Malaysian palm oil fruits left unharvested there is abundant workers for hire in Indonesia
