Reason Disposal of 20,000,000 Genting Berhad ("GENT") shares held by Kien Huat International Limited ("KHIL") pursuant to a cash settled total return swap transaction entered into on 7 June 2022. Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay had a deemed interest in the GENT shares disposed of by KHIL by virtue of him being a beneficiary of a discretionary trust ("the Discretionary Trust") of which Parkview Management Sdn Bhd ("PMSB") is the trustee. PMSB as trustee of the Discretionary Trust owns 100% of the voting shares of KHIL. As such, PMSB as trustee of the Discretionary Trust was deemed interested in the GENT shares held by KHIL.
