Working Experience
Ms Tan ("Christine") started her career in a legal firm in Kuala Lumpur, handling corporate and project conveyancing work. In 2000, she left practice to join Europlus Berhad, a company dealing with property development. Her scope of work included vetting of corporate and loan agreements. She also dealt with the companys litigation work. In 2001, Christine joined Insas Berhad's legal department, overseeing all areas of compliance on the rules, regulations and laws of a public listed entity. In 2002, she left Insas to join Seloga Holdings Berhad, a construction company as their Legal Counsel. She was responsible for the legal, secretarial and compliance functions of the company. She was also involved in the corporate restructuring and fund raising exercise of the company. In 2008, Christine set up her own practice as Mai & Co. in Kuala Lumpur. Having been in practice for more than 20 years, Christine has extensive legal experience in corporate and commercial matters mainly listings and restructurings, due diligence and mergers and acquisitions.
