| Working Experience | He started his career with Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad in 1991. He has vast 23 years of experience in banking and he began with remittance department and moved on to various other operational duties within first 3 years. He used to be known as the Utility Man among his operational colleagues.
Thereafter, he decided to acquire sale experience and became a Personal Financial Consultant. He vastly exposed to managing retail consumer products and he also horned his skills in credit proposal for housing sector and retail lending. After 3 years in retails, he moved on to the SME sector as Business Financial Consultant. This is where he felt home managing SME clients and their needs. In a short period he was hand-picked to set up the banks SME sales arm at various region. He was responsible in developing the business at Johor, Klang Valley and Penang. He spearheaded a team of 12 to achieve 100M commercial property loan acceptance within 20 days. He was then moved on developing lending via outsource companies. During his leadership, there was 6 successful outsource companies selling housing & commercial mortgage.
He thereafter moved on to credit underwriting for SME products. After 5 years in credit underwriting, he tried skills in recovery and fraud detection for a short while before he was hand-picked once again to revive the sales force in SME. He was instrumental in arbitrating loan proposition with credit underwriting and setting new guidelines on grey areas of the lending policy.
After 23 years in banking, he decided to part ways with Standard Charted Bank and formed his own company acquiring outsource agency with various bank in Malaysia. He provides consultation and secures loan facilities from various banks.
He joined APC group on year 2014 as a marketing director to oversee entire marketing related activity in the same time enhances business opportunity to growth the company portfolio. |
